Director Teja is known for bold attitude. He faced criticism in the past for troubling actors with his tough directional style while shooting on sets. Now, he made sensational comments on Mahesh Babu with whom he made Nijam.
Off late, Teja is busy promoting his latest directorial Hora Hori. The film made with newcomers is seeing lights in two days (Sep 11th). When media tried to draw sensational attention of viewers, a journalist asked this. ‘What is your comment on Mahesh Babu, Prakash Raj and few other actors coming forward to adopt villages in Telugu states, were they really inspired by Srimanthudu film theme?’
Teja replied, ‘I don’t think there is a social purpose. Actors do such things, to cash on the loopholes by enjoying Income Tax deductions. IT department usually gives tax exemption if corporate companies and big shots perform social service for some extent. The department would have declared same to these actors, so this fad has began.
They may not have positive intention in doing this. If Mahesh really wanted to do social service, he should have started this after Okkadu.’Well, after these hitting remarks from Teja’s frankness, many people may be getting their thoughts mixed, true?
