Makers Using New Tricks To Bring Hype!

Selling the film is a complete art. If the hero is in demand, the director is a big star, then nothing could stop the film’s business. But if both of them are struggling, then producers need to use all the tricks up their sleeves to sell a film. And those new age tricks of our producers are now getting all the attention.

With competition going pretty high between various media houses, these days many producers are giving selective leaks to different media houses with the kind of news they want to plant. For example for a film that will not make any business due to the flop show of hero, producers simply give an ‘exclusive news’ to one particular media house about the business of the film. After one publishes it, other media folks will be forced to write about it. And if someone calls back the producer to check facts, he says, yes it is true. So the fake ‘business’ news gets planted everywhere.

Reality is that the film’s business is not even started but looking at this news some other competitors who want to buy the rights to the film will now approach the producer. Using media and tricking the distributors, producers are laughing their way to the bank with these tricks. If a producer himself is giving a news leak, naturally media folks believe it. But after coming to know about the ploy, they are stunned.

Almost all the recent big films are suffering from the problem of ‘routine content’ and their producers are using this trick to generate attention and sell the film. But how long this will happen? Once the distributors and buyers knows about this trick, surely they will back off. Rather these tricks, try better content!!
