Dhurandhar: The Revenge – Ranveer Singh Teases Dark, High-Octane Sequel
The makers of Dhurandhar have officially revealed the title of the film’s sequel as Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Along with the announcement, they released a striking new poster, offering fans a first glimpse into the next chapter of the high-octane blockbuster franchise.
Ranveer Singh shared the poster on Instagram, drenched in deep, ominous red tones that instantly set a dark and intense mood. At the center stands Ranveer, soaked in rain, staring straight ahead with a fierce, unflinching expression. Behind him, the title “THE REVENGE” is carved into a blood-red wall, dominating the background like a warning. The release date, 19.03.26, is prominently displayed at the top, signaling the film’s worldwide release.
Captioning the poster, Ranveer wrote:
“Ab Bigadne Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai. Dhurandhar: The Revenge Teaser Out Today at 12:12 PM. Releasing in Cinemas Worldwide on 19th March 2026 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam.”
The star-studded cast also includes R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal. Serving as the first installment of a two-part series, the original Dhurandhar focused on a high-stakes covert counter-terrorism operation inspired by real-life geopolitical events, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and developments linked to Pakistan’s Operation Lyari.
Director Aditya Dhar and Ranveer further fueled anticipation by teasing the teaser release of Dhurandhar 2 on February 3, posting on Instagram: “Tomorrow 12:12.”
Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues the story of Hamza Ali Mazhari, an Indian undercover agent who has successfully infiltrated Pakistan’s underworld. After eliminating Rehman Dakait, Hamza rises through the ranks, only to face his most formidable adversary yet: Major Iqbal, the ISI mastermind known as Bade Sahab. The poster and teaser hint at a darker, more ferocious chapter ahead, promising intense action and high-stakes drama.
