Actor Manchu Manoj recently shared heartfelt memories of how Powerstar Pawan Kalyan stood by him during some of the most challenging phases of his life.

After his separation from Pranati Reddy, Manoj stepped away from the public eye for a while. It later emerged that he had been living in an ashram in Rishikesh. Upon returning to Hyderabad, he married Mounika Reddy, the elder daughter of the late politician Bhuma Nagi Reddy. Despite this, he remained distant from the film industry for some time and eventually relocated to Chennai.

In a recent interview, Manoj recalled the concern Pawan Kalyan showed for his well-being. “When Pawan anna learned about the troubles I was facing at home, he reached out to check on me. He asked why I had been out of the limelight and what I was up to. I told him I was living in Chennai because of the issues back in Hyderabad and that Mounika had come into my life,” Manoj said.

He added, “Pawan anna told me not to worry and encouraged me to visit him whenever I was in Chennai. He has always wanted me to make a strong comeback in Telugu cinema.”

Manoj further revealed the depth of their bond, sharing an anecdote from the shooting of Bheemla Nayak. “He was the first to stand by me and support me. During the shoot, he called me and urged me to get back in shape. We had a long conversation, and that’s the kind of relationship we share.”

Looking ahead, Manoj is gearing up for his next big project, the sci-fi adventure Mirai. The film has generated excitement for its visual effects and storyline, with Manoj playing the antagonist. Mirai is slated for a theatrical release this September.
