Mani Ratnam’s ‘Nawab’ is not creating any buzz in Telugu though the Tamil version is having terrific promotions. Not even one promotional event was held in Hyderabad for this movie.
On the other hand, there are rumors that the film is nothing but rehash of Hollywood classic “The Godfather’, which he had already remade as ‘Nayakan’/’Nayakudu’.But our sources say the film is more inspired by current Tamil politics. Prakash Raj and Aravind Swamy’s characters are really on current Tamil leaders.
He is keeping this as secret to avoid political controversies before the release.The film is said to be more about the fighting of two brothers to get the seat of their father.
