Finally, one of those most awaited sequels that Tollywood is looking forward to, Manmadhudu 2, is launched today. Featuring Nagarjuna and Rakul Preet in the leading roles, the film is likely to be shot in Hungary from next month under the direction of director-turned-hero Rahul Ravindran.
Today the film was launched at Annapurna Studios with the whole of Akkineni family as the chief guest. Guess what, the launch itself has given clarity to folks that Nagarjuna is quite apt for the role. Because, at 59 years age, Nagarjuna is looking like a brother to his elder son, 32-year-old Chay.
Time and again Nagarjuna has proved that his fitness levels are far better than that of many other star heroes and younger heroes as well. Perhaps that is the reason he’s still able to convince audiences as a middle-aged hero. The film is said to be seeing Nag as a middle-aged unmarried guy who finds love in a young girl, being played by Rakul Preet.
Reports are coming that Samantha and Amala, the two Akkineni kodallu, will be doing special roles in the movie.
