Chiranjeevi’s Next Movie: Thaman to Compose, Announcement by Ugadi
The upcoming film starring megastar Chiranjeevi, possibly alongside Priyamani, is directed by KS Bobby and has been creating buzz for quite some time. The movie is being bankrolled by KVN Productions, the same studio behind Yash’s Toxic. Earlier, there were rumors that Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman would score the music for the film.
After the songs of Ram Charan’s Peddi went viral, many expected Chiranjeevi to also collaborate with the same composer. In recent times, Telugu composers like Thaman, Devi Sri Prasad, and Bheems have delivered occasional hit albums, and Chiranjeevi’s previous films also reflect this trend.
However, reports now suggest that SS Thaman has been chosen over AR Rahman due to timing and budget constraints.
Initially, the film was expected to be officially announced in February, but changes in the script and budget planning delayed the muhurat event. If reports are accurate, the film may finally be announced by Ugadi on March 19.
