The trailer of Deva Katta’s political drama Mayasabha has been unveiled today. This Sony LIV original series is set to start streaming on August 7. As hinted in the earlier teaser, Mayasabha is a fictionalized political saga inspired by real-life leaders, reimagined with alternate names and events. The story follows the journey of two close friends who eventually turn into fierce political rivals, with clear parallels drawn to N.
Chandrababu Naidu and Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Aadhi Pinisetty plays Krishnama Naidu, a character based on Chandrababu Naidu. Chaitanya Rao Madadi appears as MS Rami Reddy, inspired by YSR. Sai Kumar takes on a role that seems modeled after N. T. Rama Rao. Unlike a gritty, realistic portrayal of political drama, the trailer opts for a stylized and cinematic narrative, leaning heavily into dramatization.
