In this context, two young beauties, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sri Leela, seem to be competing for the top spot in Tollywood.
The ongoing saga involves a film project between Naga Chaitanya and Karthik Varma, the director of Virupaksha, where the casting drama has unfolded. Initially, Meenakshi was signed to play the female lead in this project, but for undisclosed reasons, she was replaced, with rumors suggesting that remuneration issues were the cause.
Following this, the makers roped in Sri Leela for the role, but there was another complication. Leela had already committed to a project with Akhil Akkineni, which meant she couldn’t adjust her schedule for the film with Naga Chaitanya. As a result, the makers had no choice but to go back to Meenakshi and try to convince her to return to the project.
Now, after her recent success with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, the question remains: will Meenakshi be willing to adjust her remuneration, which was initially the main issue? This has led to a tense situation for the film’s producers, but a solution is expected to emerge soon.
