We usually see competition between the heroes and heroines all the time. But we don’t usually see competition between production banners. For example. Mythri Movie Makers don’t feel bad when DVV Danayya scores a hit film. Allu Aravind doesn’t get angry when Dil Raju makes profits. It is because each banner have their own set of movies and there is competition only if their movies release at the same time which is not that often.
But what happens when there are two production banners from the same family? The Mega daughters Sushmita Konidela and Niharika Konidela have floated production companies named ‘Golden Box Entertainments’ and ‘Pink Elephant Pictures’ respectively. The ‘Golden Box Entertainments’ was established by Sushmita and her husband. They produced ‘Sridevi Sobhan Babu’ with Santosh Sobhan as the lead. They even produced a web series that was released on ZEE5. They got a good experience on these two platforms and are lining up some more crazy projects as well.
On the other hand, Niharika Konidela is quite serious on production too. She produces short films and web series on YouTube through her ‘Pink Elephant Pictures’ banner. She is planning to enter OTT platforms and set up a new office as well. Both the Mega daughters became producers at the same time. They are trying their best and are planning to excel in production without a lot of help from the Mega heroes. This shows their willpower and courage. Hope these two become successful and compete with each other all the time.
