Ahead of the Women’s Day on March 8, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has made the most important statement regarding gender equality.
The legendary actor on Thursday tweeted a photo of himself in which he was seen holding a placard, which reads, “When I die, the assets I shall leave behind, shall be shared equally between my daughter and my son, #GenderEquality.”
Big B has two children – son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Nanda. Breaking the traditional barriers in India, which bat for all the wealth of a father going to his sons, Big B has announced to divide his assets equally between his son and daughter.
Big B has always been an inspiration to many and his latest noble act to promote ‘Gender Equality’ is expected to at least inspire a few. He is a big advocate of gender equality and his last super hit film ‘Pink’ was based on the same issue.
