Bellamkonda Sreenivas made his acting debut with Alludu Seenu. The film was a cost failure, although it made strong business like of a star hero’s. The VV Vinayak directorial minted around Rs 23 crore shares for full run worldwide, which is a great achievement for a debutante.
Apparently distributors are not bothered about Alludu Seenu debacle result, as Sreenu’s new film Speedunnodu is doing strong pre release business. As per trade reports, Speedunnodu Krishna area rights have been sold to Devi Films for whopping Rs 1.20 crores NRA (non-refundable-advance basis).
The amount is much bigger than business of other young (hit) heroes for the territory. The total pre-release business of Speedunnodu is said to be about Rs 25 crores. In fact, the grand promotions are tempting buyers to invest good price on the film.
Big league celebrities such as VV Vinayak, Tamanna Bhatia, Regina Cassandra, Catherine Tresa etc had attended Speedunnodu audio launch and Venkatesh, Nagarjuna lent their support by gracing platinum disc function.
The promos of the film are incessantly being telecasted in TVs and ads are published every day on all Telugu dailies. Tamanna who just did an item number in Speedunnodu is also taking part in movie promotions. In fact, Tamanna’s song is expected to be one of the major assets of the film.
Since original version Sundarapandiyan was a blockbuster, expectations on Speedunnodu are quite decent. The film directed by ‘remake specialist’ Bheemaneni Sreenivasa Rao is hitting screens on February 5th.
