Prabhas, who devoted nearly four years to the Baahubali series starting in 2013, has since managed to deliver five films in just seven years — Saaho, Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush, and Kalki 2898 AD.

Yet, one project that continues to drag on unusually long is The Raja Saab. Interestingly, while the actual shooting days haven’t been excessive, the film has stretched across more than three years as Prabhas simultaneously juggled multiple commitments. Industry sources even reveal that the total working days on this film have already exceeded those of Radhe Shyam.

Currently, shooting is in progress in Hyderabad, with director Maruthi determined to bring the long-pending project to completion. Marketed as a horror drama, The Raja Saab pairs Prabhas with Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead roles.

With a January 2026 release in sight, the film has already become one of the most expensive ventures in Prabhas’s career, thanks to its extended timeline and rising production costs.
