For the first time in two years after assuming power, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Telangana to inaugurate CM KCR’s ambitious Mission Bhageeratha and several other state projects in Gajwel, Medak.Just like he did at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amaravati last year, Modi once again thrilled The Teluguites by beginning his speech in Telugu saying “Sodara Sodareemanulaara..”
Modi then wished that Telangana would realise all the dreams for which the separate state was formed and expressed his happiness over setting his foot in Telangana for the first time after becoming PM.On the other hand, KCR, after beginning his speech in Telugu, continued his speech in Hindi and drenched Modi in countless praises. KCR hailed Modi’s 2 year government as ‘corruption free’.
Explaining the issues that have been plaguing Telangana, KCR said, “Modi Ji, we want your love, not special packages like others”. KCR went on to request Modi to grant an AIIMS and a national project to Telangana apart from solving the pending issues being faced by the state.
