In what could be considered as significant move towards expand its base in Telangana, sources say that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is reportedly planning some aggressive strategies, which would start with an attack against the ruling TRS government that would be completing six months in office on Dec 2.
The local unit is reportedly roping in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who would kick-start a `Telangana Bachao’ campaign along with a huge public rally in the month if February marking the massive membership drive that has recently started in all the 10 districts. Sources say that Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah will be in Hyderabad on January 20, which is in tune with BJP’s long awaited goal for expansion in Telangana.
Sources say that BJP is planning to involve TJAC in a big way, which has otherwise been completely sidelined by KCR after his party coming to power. With the renewed aggression of the TJAC, that had called for a farmers’ movement just like statehood struggle, BJP is all set to woo Telangana in a big way!
