Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming intense thriller 12th Man has skipped the traditional theatrical release and has opted for a direct OTT release. The official announcement regarding the same was made the other day. The movie will have a direct digital premiere on the Disney Hotstar platform. The date for the release is yet to be announced officially by the makers.
12th Man is directed by Jeethu Joseph, who has a good success track record with Mohanlal. Following the outstanding success of Drishyam 2, the actor-director duo are back together for 12th Man.
Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, 12th Man has music composed by Anil Johnson, while Satheesh Kurup handles the cinematography. Apart from Mohanlal, the film also features Unni Mukundan, Saiju Kurup, Sshivada, Anusree, Anu Sithara, among others.
