Actor Nithin is currently going through a rough phase, with most of his recent films failing to deliver at the box office. Despite collaborating with proven and talented directors, success has continued to elude him, with luck seemingly not on his side. Now, fresh buzz is doing the rounds about his possible next move, or rather, a project that may no longer be happening.

Earlier, Nithin had shared a picture on social media with his Ishq director Vikram K Kumar, almost confirming that their successful combination was set for a comeback. Reports at the time suggested that the duo would reunite for Ishq 2, envisioned as a thriller-laced script penned by Vikram himself. However, industry chatter now indicates that the project may not be materialising, especially at a time when Nithin is said to be stepping away from multiple films.

Adding to the speculation, reports claim that after exiting Balagam Venu’s Yellamma, Nithin has now walked out of Vikram K Kumar’s project as well. While the exact reasons remain unclear, this development has raised eyebrows in film circles. Interestingly, the buzz suggests that Vijay Deverakonda, who reportedly showed strong interest in the script, may have stepped in, prompting Vikram K Kumar to move forward with him instead.

Although no official confirmation has been made, the talk around this shift is gaining momentum within the industry. Following the disappointing box office performance of Tammudu, Nithin is yet to announce his next project, and if the Vikram K Kumar film is indeed off the table, the actor’s lineup remains uncertain for now.
