Senior star hero Nagarjuna is never afraid to take up challenging roles. He made a gamble with a new filmmaker like RGV during the early stages of his career and it paid off in the form of ‘Shiva’. He was the one who dared to do a devotional film ‘Annamayya’ soon after a romantic film like ‘Ninne Pelladatha’. He is called a ‘Celluloid Scientist’ by his fans and it looks like Nag is taking a risk once again.
He is working on an action thriller titled ‘Wild Dog’ where he will be seen as an encounter specialist Vijay Varma. It is going to be a serious film that stays true to its theme and plot. Nagarjuna did some films based on armed forces previously but none of those films succeeded commercially. ‘Gaganam’ was a good hit on television compared to when it ran in theatres. Now, he is doing such action thriller once again with ‘Wild Dog’.
While other senior heroes are still trying to maintain their image, Nag is open to doing all kinds of roles and is game for acting in guest roles too. Apart from big screen, he is proving to be the lifeline for the fourth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ which is getting very low ratings.
