The NDA government in Andhra Pradesh has been actively engaging with the public to assess the situation at the ground level, and in line with this, Janasena is launching a significant outreach initiative titled “Janam Loki Janasena.”
This mass engagement program will be led by Naga Babu, who is taking charge of this flagship campaign, which will kick off on February 2. Naga Babu is also set to be inducted into the Andhra Pradesh cabinet, with his nomination for the upcoming MLC elections anticipated soon. This outreach program seems to be a prelude to his active entry into politics, as he prepares to strengthen his political presence.
In an interesting move, Janasena has chosen Punganur, a stronghold of the ruling YCP, as the location for the first Janam Loki Janasena event. This constituency has been represented by YCP senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy for decades, making it a crucial area for Janasena’s strategy. By targeting this key constituency, Naga Babu and the Janasena leadership are signaling an effort to expand their influence in regions traditionally dominated by their rivals.
Pawan Kalyan, the party chief, had earlier emphasized the need for Naga Babu to actively engage with the public to secure government positions. With this outreach initiative, Naga Babu is taking the first step towards building a grassroots connection with the people and JSP cadres. This move is crucial for gaining wider acceptance as a legitimate candidate for a cabinet minister position.
