Naga Chaitanya relies on remakes for success

Naga Chaitanya’s career is currently in doldrums as all his recent movies Dhada, Bejawada failed miserably at the box office. So, thje young gun seem to be banking on remakes to steady his career. He is currently eying on three remakes – Vettai (Tamil), Welcome (Hindi) and Charminar (Kannada). Vettai remake is almost complete and his next under Srivas direction which is the remake of Bollywood film, Welcome will be going to sets very soon. And now the buzz in Tollywood scuttle butt machinery goes that he is reportedly impressed by a Kannada movie titled ‘Charminar’. While the project is not confirmed officially, sources say there is a good chance of this movie making to sets.

Charminar is an upcoming romantic drama written and directed and produced by R. Chandru featuring Prem Kumar and Meghana Gaonkar in the lead roles. The film deals with the life of a man in comparison with the famous monument Charminar in Hyderabad, that shows four important pillars including family, friends and lover.
