Our readers are aware that actress Samantha is running a charity organization, Pratyusha Foundation which provides medical support to underprivileged women and children. Recently the foundation had taken the case of a little baby, Purnima who survived a major cardiac arrest.
She was kept in 90 days of NICU care and 55 days on the ventilator. Naga Chaitanya came to know about her plight and came forward to bear all the expenses of the baby’s medical treatment. The surgery is successful and the baby is doing very well.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha acted together in three films – Yem Maaya Chesave, Autonagar Surya and Manam. Two of them are career defining hits. Both of them share good relationship and have taken up this noble task.
