A few weeks ago, an interesting verbal altercation unfolded between Naga Vamsi and Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor. The exchange started when Naga Vamsi stated that Pushpa 2 had left Bollywood and Mumbai’s film circles “devastated and sleepless.” He went on to claim that the entire Mumbai film fraternity couldn’t sleep the night Pushpa made ₹80 crore nett in the Hindi market. Boney Kapoor, however, took offense to this statement and denied its validity, asserting that there was no truth to the argument. The heated debate was revisited recently when Naga Vamsi appeared to promote Mad Square.
When asked to comment on the matter, Vamsi’s response was both witty and diplomatic. “I have absolutely nothing against Boney Kapoor ji. It was just a casual discussion, and that’s all. How could I have any clash with the man who gave us Janhvi Kapoor?” he said with a smile. By cleverly referencing Janhvi Kapoor, Vamsi defused the tension, leaving everyone to focus on his humorous remark, which quickly went viral.
