Sithara Entertainments head, Naga Vamsi, has openly expressed his frustration over film reviews, making strong remarks during a recent press meet. His statements come in response to the reception of his latest film, Mad Square, which was released on March 28th.
Addressing the media, Naga Vamsi challenged critics and reviewers who consistently target him and his films. “If you dislike me so much, then completely ignore my movies. Don’t review them, don’t write about them, and don’t take advertisements from me. I will show you how to promote a film without your support,” he asserted.
Following its release, Mad Square received mixed reviews, with many comparing it unfavorably to its predecessor. The film also faced backlash for its high ticket prices. Additionally, certain media outlets have accused the makers of inflating box office numbers, claiming that the actual figures are much lower than reported.
In response, Naga Vamsi dismissed these allegations and invited skeptics to verify the collections themselves. He also stated that he has no reason to falsely claim success, especially when even big-budget films struggle at times.
The producer further criticized certain media houses and reviewers, accusing them of deliberately undermining the film despite its positive reception among audiences. With this strong stand, Naga Vamsi has made it clear that he will not back down from defending his films and his production house.
