Akkineni Nagarjuna is always open to talk about any topic all the time and he isn’t even apprehensive of expressing his views on the sensitive Telangana issue. Have a look at what he said…
To a question on if Tollywood would be moved to Seemandhra after division of state, Nag replied, “Film Industry has been relocated to AP from Chennai upon the request of AP Government. It’s been 30-years now and the Industry is well settled here. In such scenario, we can’t expect it to move to some other place and it’s the responsibility of the politicians to help the Industry in some way or the other, instead of scaring it. Telugu Film Industry has faced so many issues over the years and it somehow managed to overcome them. I feel, thinking about a future problem itself is a major problem. What’s the use of worrying about a problem which may or mayn’t come in future? So, let the problem come our way and then we can face it.”
Nagarjuna asserted that shootings will be done in both the states after the division and Industry is hopeful of receiving support from both Governments.
