The Central Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu has finally agreed that there was huge loss incurred to the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh state. However, he mentioned that the Centre will always be supportive in any issue and work for the development of the state.
He said that the Centre released Rs 250 crores before march 31st keeping in mind the financial crunch of the state. Naidu agreed to the huge problems in the capital area and resorted to work on them. Talking about the improvement of underground sewage system, Naidu said that Rs 461 crore was sanctioned for Vijayawada.
He expressed his grief about the bifurcation that was done without actually solving any issues that raise in common. He promised to work according to the AP reorganisation act and will do as much as possible. He said that Centre gave a green signal to Railway zone to AP and the Steel Plant in Kadapa is in talks. He said that between 2013-2015, the AP state failed to utilize the Central funds.
