Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu who has been facing criticism for going back on loan waiver finally announced his government policy on the same. Speaking to media in Hyderabad he said his government will waive farm loan and Dwcra loans of all eligible people. He said starting from December 10, in the first phase farm loans of below Rs 50000 will be waived off.
He said the eligible list should be displayed even in internet on 6 Dec and for objections, complaints addresses by a grievance cell and call center would be started from December 9. In the first phase 22lakh families will be benefited and second stage will start after four weeks.
He revealed Aadhar card is a must and farmers will get 4 week fund to submit the details. A ceiling if 1.5 lakh or family is imposed and loans between 01-04-2007 to 31-12-2013 will be waived. Scale of finance is not applicable for loans under 50000.
