A day after the Aam Aadmi Party secured a historic mandate in the Delhi Assembly polls, the party chief and Delhi CM designate Arvind Kejriwal meets several ministers in Delhi and discussed various issues.
Arvind Kejriwal first reached out to senior Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu and Rajnath Singh for support in fulfilling some of its major poll promises. Kejriwal along with Manish Sisodai met Naidu and discussed about several issues with him including that of unauthorised colonies in the city and full statehood.
Kejriwal also extended an invitation to Naidu for the swearing-in ceremony on February 14 at Ramlila Maidan.‘’Met Venkaiah Naidu ji n Rajnath ji -the 2 most imp ministries for del govt. Invited them to oath ceremony’’tweeted Kejriwal But Venkaiah expressed his inability to attend the swering-in as he have prior commitments.
“He invited me but I have a prior commitment in Kolkata.I have a municipal commissioners meeting which was fixed a month back so I expressed my inability, otherwise I would have been happy to attend that,” said Venkaiah Naidu Sources said the Chief Minister-designate has also sought appointments from some other central ministers.
