Naidu Wants To Attend Maha Court

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday blamed it on Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister for the violent incidents in Tadipatri in Anantapur district which claimed one life and caused injuries to several others. For the last two days, there have been a fighting against the locals and inmates of Swamy Prabodhananda ashram at Chinnapolamada village over Ganesh immersion ceremony.

People were attacked with stones, sticks and rods, while some inmates of the ashram also allegedly hurled petrol bombs, which resulted in many vehicles catching fire or getting damaged. The locals were supported by Anantapur MP J C Diwakar Reddy, who camped at the ashram site and allegedly instigated the violent incidents.Jagan said Naidu was patronizing rowdy elements who were responsible for the attack on Swamy Prabhodanda Ashram and said that his Party would extend all support to Ashram inmates.

He said the rowdy elements had been very active as they had the blessings of TDP leadership.

“The attack on the Ashram and inmates is inhuman and there is no place for such attacks in a civilised society and need to be condemned unequivocally,” he said.He pointed out that Naidu had shielded MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar when he attacked a woman Tehasildar. In this case, the followers of Diwakar Reddy carried out the attack.“The perpetrators of such acts have the blessings of TDP leadership which is evident and the law and order has been deteriorating further and further. Such heinous acts can be stopped only if stern action is taken against the actual people responsible for the crime, irrespective of their social standing,” he said.

Stating that injustice cannot prevail for long, Jagan said there has to an end for such things somewhere and YSRCP will stand with the Ashram inmates and take up the issue.
