Natural Star Nani continues to expand his horizons after the success of Hi Nanna, a film that earned him immense love from family audiences and showcased a new dimension in his acting. The movie also marked the directorial debut of Shoryuv, and now, the actor-director duo is set to collaborate once again—this time for a period drama that will go on floors next year.
Currently, Nani is busy with The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, who previously helmed Dasara. Alongside, he has also signed a film with Sujeeth, which is expected to begin once the director completes his commitments with OG. Amid these, the project with Shoryuv has been in talks for a while and now looks closer to reality.
Interestingly, Nani has already explored the period-drama space with Shyam Singha Roy and is once again delving into it with The Paradise. Despite this, the actor finds Shoryuv’s concept compelling enough to take up another film set in a different era. If all goes as planned, this new collaboration is likely to kick-start around Sankranthi 2026, with an official announcement expected soon.
