Natural Star Nani, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film The Paradise, recently appeared on the talk show Jayammu Nischayammu Ra, hosted by veteran actor Jagapathi Babu. During the candid conversation, Nani addressed the controversy surrounding his past remarks on Jai Bhim not receiving a National Award.
Nani recalled that his disappointment over the film being overlooked had attracted significant backlash at the time. Speaking about the incident, Jagapathi Babu praised Nani for being vocal on important issues, despite the criticism that often follows.
Explaining his stance, Nani said his priority has always been to speak his mind without fearing future regret. “When we are young, we think we’ll be criticised for doing wrong and appreciated for doing good. But today, no matter how much good we do, there’s still criticism. Social media amplifies misunderstandings—people interpret posts without knowing the full context and spread their opinions widely. It’s impossible to constantly explain ourselves every time,” Nani noted.
Jagapathi Babu lauded Nani’s clarity and courage, calling him a “true hero” for holding firm to his principles. The segment from the show, highlighting Nani’s remarks, is now going viral across social media platforms.
