Natural Star Nani is currently working on the most ambitious project of his career, The Paradise, a film that is not only massive in scale but also boasts a powerful and diverse cast. This time, the makers have roped in several senior actors, most of whom are said to be playing intense roles with negative shades.
It is already known that veteran actor Mohan Babu will be seen as a cunning and ruthless antagonist in the film. Adding to this, another senior actor, Thanikella Bharani, is also said to be portraying a strong and impactful negative role. The presence of seasoned performers like Mohan Babu and Bharani is expected to significantly elevate the film’s visual appeal and narrative depth, with both characters reportedly being presented in a dark and menacing manner.
The film also features Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal, who is making his Telugu cinema debut with this project. Raghav impressed audiences with his intense performance in the Hindi film Kill, and expectations are high that he will deliver a similarly powerful act in The Paradise, reportedly in a negative-shaded role. Adding another interesting layer to the cast are Sampoornesh Babu and Babu Mohan, who are said to be appearing in author-backed roles that break away from their usual comedic image.
With so many strong characters and negative energies at play, the major challenge lies with young director Srikanth Odela, who must carefully balance the screenplay while giving each character its due weight. Interestingly, even Nani is expected to appear in a violent and morally grey role, further intensifying the film’s dark tone. This opens up immense scope for powerful confrontations and an explosive cinematic experience if handled effectively.
Given how convincingly Srikanth Odela handled the intense villain dynamics in Dasara, expectations are high that he will take things to the next level with The Paradise.
