Natural Star Nani, renowned for his impeccable taste in scripts and his support for young directors, is set to collaborate once again with the director of the critically acclaimed film “Dasara”. The script for this upcoming political drama has been finalized, and the pre-production work is currently underway.
Sudhakar Cherukuri, who was also a producer for “Dasara”, is once again backing this project. Nani will be portraying a mass character in this film, marking a departure from some of his recent roles. While there were rumors that Janhvi Kapoor might be the female lead, Nani himself has clarified that she has not signed the film yet.
The shooting for this ambitious project is unlikely to commence this year, and the makers are currently focusing on the pre-production stages. The film is reportedly being made on a budget of 200 crores, making it one of the most expensive Telugu films in recent times. The talented Santosh Narayanan has been roped in to compose the music.
The movie, currently untitled, is set in the 1980s and is expected to hit theaters in the summer of 2025. As fans eagerly await more details about this exciting project, Nani’s continued association with promising young filmmakers is a testament to his commitment to the Telugu film industry.
