Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh is taking bold steps to uplift primary education and environmental consciousness in the state. In a significant move, a large-scale Parent-Teacher Meeting was held today in Sathya Sai district, drawing participation from both Lokesh and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Addressing the gathering at the event, Lokesh shared his commitment to a meaningful green initiative. Responding to a challenge from Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, he announced that the education department will take up Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Plant 1 Crore Trees” mission in full spirit.

“Kalyan anna has challenged the education department to embrace the initiative set by PM Modi ji to plant 1 crore trees. I happily accept this challenge. The education department will lead the way and I will personally ensure it happens,” Lokesh declared.

What adds depth to this initiative is the emotional appeal tied to it. Prime Minister Modi had earlier encouraged citizens to plant a tree in the name of their mother — a gesture of personal legacy and national service. Pawan Kalyan took this vision forward, and Nara Lokesh’s swift endorsement and public declaration today gave the program a strong momentum.

Beyond the environmental drive itself, the visible collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh has become a major talking point in political circles. Their united front and shared goals are being seen as a positive sign for the governance of Andhra Pradesh. With Lokesh setting the wheels in motion to plant 1 crore trees, the state looks poised for a meaningful green transformation.
