Ever since Nara Lokesh has been elevated to the post of General Secretary for TDP National Committee and made ex-officio member of the politburo, speculations are rife that Lokesh would soon be given crucial post in AP Government.
Now latest reports indicate that Nara Lokesh would be made minister in Mr Chandrababu Naidu cabinet. Sources in the know divulge that Mr Naidu is contemplating to anoint Lokesh as MLC and likely to take him into his cabinet during cabinet reshuffle.
On other hand, Lokesh has already emerged as the power centre in TDP. It’s common knowledge by now that Lokesh is playing key role in the party affairs and actively participating in all party activities. But unlike others who climb the rungs of ladder as political successors, Lokesh is winning party members, leaders with his own prowess.
Be it record membership drive of party or recent Legendary Blood Donation drive (LBD) or the latest GHMC polls, Lokesh made a mark of his own. This is not all. Lokesh leads one of the six teams which advise to Mr Naidu and give him honest feedback on functioning of the government on daily basis.
Taking his work into account, Mr Naidu is likely to take Lokesh into his cabinet. Usually, Chandrababu is against to dynasty politics. But keeping in Lokesh’s caliber, commitment in mind, Naidu wants Lokesh to be part of his cabinet.
At the same time, Lokesh’s counterpart KTR too proved as good minister in Telangana. So, political analysts predict, it’s turn of Nara Lokesh to join the cabinet. Meanwhile, Nara Lokesh is celebrating his birthday today. Gulte.com wishes him a very happy birthday.
