Nehru seeks horoscope for Rajiv Gandhi!

Congress party has been protesting from the roof tops opposing introduction of courses on astrology in UG level. All its leaders started blasting HRD minister Smriti Irani when she was spotted consulting a palmist. They critised her and Prime Minister Modi for diluting the scientific temper promoted by first Prime Minister of India, Jawahar Lal Nehru.

BJP in its bid to take sting out of Congress criticism, released a letter written by Jawahar Lal Nehru. In his letter dated 29-Aug-1944, addressed to Krishna Hutheesing, Nehru suggested the need for proper horoscope and desired permanent records of date and time.

In another letter to his daughter Indira Gandhi, he stressed the importance of solar time and not the artificial time used outside. He pointed that war time is atleast an hour ahead of the normal time.
