Kannada actress Nikita Thukral has been roped in for a special folk number in Vishal Krishna Reddy-starrer Tamil actioner “Paayam Puli”.
“We recently shot a special folk number with Nikita. It has come out very well. To shoot the song, a market set was erected,” the film’s director Suseenthiran told IANS.
Nikita is most popular for her item number in “Saroja” in Tamil cinema.
Also starring Kajal Aggarwal and Aishwarya Dutta, the film features Vishal in the role of a policeman.
Said to be inspired by real events, “Paayam Puli” is set against the backdrop of Madurai.
