At the trailer launch of Thammudu, set to release on July 4, actor Nithiin surprised everyone with a rare moment of honesty. Steering away from the usual promotional flair, he openly acknowledged that his recent films failed to meet audience expectations. “The movies I did recently couldn’t make you happy. I apologize,” he said, striking a chord with fans who’ve been waiting for a comeback.
Sharing the stage with director Venu Sriram, producer Dil Raju, and co-stars Saptami Gowda and Laya, Nithiin kept his message simple yet emotional. “This film should be a hit for those who love me—those who are happy when I succeed and sad when I fail. I promise, from now on, to bring you only good films,” he added, placing his hopes on Thammudu to mark a turning point in his career.
Backing him wholeheartedly, producer Dil Raju expressed strong faith in the project. “Nithiin is feeling low because of his recent flops, but he’ll bounce back just as quickly,” he said. He also announced that Thammudu will have its premiere shows on July 3, setting the stage for what the team hopes will be a successful release.
