Controversial self styled godman Nithyananda is back in news again for all the wrong reasons.
Recently, Nithyananda was elected as Guru for Shankara Mutt. Since then the sanctity of the Mutt is getting degraded. The clippings of two girls entering into the Mutt at around 1am in the midnight have been making rounds all over now. The girls returned back only after 3.30am. What’s the need for girls to enter the Mutt at wee hours? What did they do in that time? How can Nithyananda justify this immoral acts!
On the other hand, police had registered a case against Nithyananda for allegedly mixing drugs in holy water, which was given to his devotees. In other case, Nithyananda’s former devotee Aarathi Rao has lodged a complaint that she was sexually harassed by him for years. It’s really surprising that there are still people who believe that Nithyananda is godly figure who can make their lives happy. Is this innocence or helplessness!
