Initially, the government officials were doubtful whether Vidya with her ‘sex symbol’ image would be the right choice for the ads. But one Minister is said to have pointed out that it is precisely this factor that will help the ads to have a huge reach. And he was proven right!
That people even in far flung off areas recognized her as the girl from ‘Dirty Picture’ shows that there is no appeal like sex-appeal.
