Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up for Jailer 2, one of the most anticipated sequels in Indian cinema. The film is being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who helmed the blockbuster first installment.

According to ongoing industry buzz, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is expected to make a special guest appearance in the sequel. Reports suggest that SRK is likely to join the sets in March to shoot his portions. With only his segment reportedly pending, his schedule is expected to mark the final leg of the sequel’s production.

Adding to the excitement, Nora Fatehi is said to be performing a special dance number in the film. Meanwhile, powerhouse actors Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar are expected to reprise their impactful roles from the first film, further strengthening the sequel’s pan-Indian appeal.

On the Bollywood front, Shah Rukh Khan will next headline King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film features an ensemble cast including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Raghav Juyal. King is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 24, 2026.

With massive names attached and cross-industry collaborations in play, Jailer 2 is shaping up to be a major cinematic event.
