Nothing has officially confirmed the launch of its next-generation A-series smartphones, the Nothing Phone (4a) lineup. CEO Carl Pei revealed the launch date in a playful and unconventional manner on X, sharing what appeared to be a “vandalised” version of Apple’s March 4 event invite splashed with messy pink spray paint. The move has sparked speculation that the new Phone (4a) series could debut in a bold pink colour option.
The Nothing Phone (4a) series is set to launch on March 5, 2026, just a day after Apple’s event. The company will host an in-person launch event in London, which will also be live-streamed globally at 10:30 GMT (4 PM IST) via its official website.
In a teaser video, Carl Pei hinted that the brand has been experimenting with striking new colours and refreshed design elements. While Nothing is known for its transparent aesthetic, the upcoming devices may introduce a new twist to that signature look.
The announcement follows closely on the heels of Nothing’s first flagship retail store opening in Bengaluru, India, indicating that the company is gearing up for an ambitious year ahead.
The Phone (4a) series is expected to include two models — the standard Phone (4a) and the Phone (4a) Pro. Reports suggest the devices could feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series processors, improved IP65-rated dust and water resistance, larger batteries and other performance upgrades. However, the company has kept detailed specifications under wraps, leaving fans to wait for the official unveiling to see what the new mid-range contenders will offer.
