Venkatesh earned the tag of ‘victory’ after scoring some mega hits even with remake films. At a time when many heroes are falling flat with remakes, he went on scoring super hits.
A couple of weeks ago, Venky is said to have expressed interest to star in the remake of “Vikram Vedha” but the idea is being reconsidered now. Actually, this film is a super hit in Tamil with Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi nailing with their performance. However, the character of Vijay Sethupathi hails from slums and that typical rural mass setup is reflected in every single frame.
Venky is thinking that earlier he has tried to emulate similar mass Tamil setup with “Gemini” movie but that didn’t work at box office. That film stands as one of the biggest flops of his career and still haunts him. For that reason, he’s said to be in a confusion whether to take up Vikram Vedha or not.
On the other hand, makers of the original version of Vikram Vedha are said to be in talks with Nagarjuna as well for the project. Also, they are said to asking Madhavan if he would reprise his role again for Telugu version.
