Sometimes your expectations won’t match that of the audience and the results of such films are awful. Then we have heroes attached to those films also facing a flak. Though everyone is in awe of Akhil Akkineni, the youngster is not proving himself as a dependable hero.
Like we said already, his third film that will be directed by Venky Atluri is launched today in a low-key affair. Many wondered why Nagarjuna opted for same old hungama for the launch of the much awaited film. Some say that he still believes that the Akkineni gang hungama will bring luck to Akhil one day.
For starters, Akhil’s debut film is launched amidst fanfare and hungama. Titled “Akhil”, the film saw director Vinayak and producer Nitin as the main guests along with Akkineni family and got widespread promotion in the media. Then his second film took years to get launched, and the muhurat event saw the whole of Akkinenis including Naga Chaitanya and Amala gracing the launch along with K Raghavendra Rao.
And when it comes to this latest movie now, again Nagarjuna, Amala, Sushant, Naga Susheela and other family members attended the muhurat. Many say, they should have avoided this family launch and directly went to the shoot. Because this hungama is getting noticed all the time while content of the films is not clicking. Hope the new film’s result will not reflect old film treat, like the way this hungama is repeated.
