Senior actor, director, and producer Arjun has opened up about the challenges filmmakers face when a lead actor walks out of a project midway. Sharing his personal experience, Arjun recalled the difficult phase he went through while attempting to launch his daughter in Tollywood.

Arjun revealed that he had personally written a strong script, invested his own money, and decided to direct the film himself. Vishwak Sen was initially roped in as the lead actor, and the project was launched on a grand scale, with Pawan Kalyan giving the ceremonial clap. The film even went on floors, with everything seemingly falling into place.

However, the project soon hit a roadblock when Vishwak Sen unexpectedly exited the film. From that point on, Arjun said, the real struggle began.

“After the actor walked out, I approached several Telugu heroes. But once a film starts and then comes to a halt, most actors naturally hesitate to step into such a project. I understand that mindset. I never forced anyone, but I did try,” Arjun explained.

Describing his fallout with Vishwak Sen as a life experience rather than a conflict, Arjun said, “Many things happen in life. This was one of them. We had differences of opinion, that’s all. Just like fingers on a hand are not the same, people are also different.”

He further added that it took nearly six to seven months to finalize the lead actor initially, yet the project still did not move forward as planned. Eventually, Arjun decided to cast a newcomer in the role.

Reflecting on the experience, Arjun said he firmly believes that whatever happens in life ultimately happens for a reason.
