OnePlus has announced a strategic collaboration with Bhagwati Products Limited (BPL), one of India’s fastest-growing electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers, to produce its premium tablet lineup domestically. This initiative, aligned with OnePlus’ ongoing Project Starlight, underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing local manufacturing capabilities and strengthening its “Make in India” roadmap.

Under this partnership, the upcoming OnePlus Pad 3 and OnePlus Pad Lite will be manufactured at BPL’s state-of-the-art facility in Greater Noida, where OnePlus smartphones are already being assembled. The move marks the brand’s deeper foray into India’s premium tablet market while reinforcing its connected ecosystem strategy.

Robin Liu, CEO of OnePlus India, described the collaboration as a milestone in the company’s growth journey:
“This partnership with BPL reflects our long-term vision to innovate for India, invest in India, and grow with India. By localising tablet production, we are reinforcing our commitment to the country while creating meaningful value for our user community.”

Vikas Jain, Co-Founder of BPL, highlighted the significance of the deal in expanding the company’s manufacturing portfolio:
“We are proud to welcome OnePlus as a partner and introduce a new form factor to our expertise. With our rapidly advancing capabilities and skilled team, we are committed to delivering precision and value through our Greater Noida facility.”

This collaboration strengthens OnePlus’ position in India’s fast-evolving consumer electronics landscape, enabling faster go-to-market timelines, deeper supply chain integration, and improved responsiveness to local consumer needs.
