Actor Jr NTR on Monday expressed his gratitude to the Delhi High Court for granting a protective order that safeguards his personality rights in the digital era. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the actor thanked the court and his legal team for their support.

In his post, Jr NTR wrote, “I thank the Hon’ble Delhi High Court for granting a protective order that safeguards my personality rights in today’s digital age. This development comes in the wake of similar legal action taken earlier this year to protect the rights of senior actors. Notably, a City Civil Court in Hyderabad granted an ad-interim injunction in favour of veteran actor Chiranjeevi Konidela, aimed at protecting his personality and publicity rights.

Through an order dated September 26, 2025, the Court of the Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad, restrained the unauthorised commercial use of Chiranjeevi’s name, image, voice, and other identifiable attributes across all formats and media platforms.

These legal developments underline the growing importance of safeguarding celebrities’ personality and publicity rights in an increasingly digital and AI-driven landscape.
