“25 Years of Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari” is celebrated in style by producer Ashwini Dutt as he made a special ‘talk show’ kind video about the film. Including him, Chiru, Raghavendra Rao and Sridevi spoke about the movie. As they gave insights and untold info about certain scenes, special effects, costumes, locations and shooting troubles, it’s a priceless possession for viewers.
What raised eyebrows however is Sridevi’s bhajans of director Raghavendra Rao. All the time she praised K Raghavendra Rao and sometimes Ashwini Dutt, but there is no word or praise showered on Chiranjeevi. Only at one particular point, she called Chiru as ‘greatest dancer’ but nothing else. While Raghavendra Rao and Ashwini Dutt heaped praises on Megastar for his extreme dedication towards the project, Sridevi shocked everyone with her ego. Observers cited certain reasons for Sridevi’s inertness towards Megastar.
By the time Chiranjeevi entered into filmdom, Sridevi is a popular heroine already. Maybe that has made our diva think superior to him and talk about him nothing. But Chiru has achieved more than what Sridevi has and she should have left her ego at least after 25 years.
