More than the ‘content’ veteran Dasari Narayana Rao speaks, it is the interpretation made by media that always creates sensation. Our senior director might have said just one line, but it is being blown out of proportion and represented as a biggest ‘criticism’ ever. Media houses are quick to develop a single line from Dasari into a long story as they mix it with their personal vendetta.

“There is no wrong in people with family background becoming heroes, but makers are forcing audiences again and again to believe those guys as heroes”, said Dasari, just a line about the ‘born with golden spoon’ and ‘family heirs’ kind in Tollywood. But the interpretations made by a couple of media houses about this comment are ridiculous and we hear that Dasari got hurt with that. “Dasari is talking about just those unsuccessful heroes from filmy-families who are coming up with a movie for every 6 months, but not about any big star. And still, our media wrote that Dasari targeted a hero from big family. It has upset him”, said a source from Dasari’s office. Initially Dasari even thought of taking legal action on those who misinterpreted his statements, but felt like the whole of media became such cynical and negative-minded these days, the source added. 

Already it is known that Dasari commented about a big star’s film that got released after ‘Loukyam’, grabbing around 37 theatres in prime centres. “This big hero’s film didn’t ran for three days and people has to bring back Loukyam again”, said Dasari. Indirectly this is a comment targeted at Govindudu Andarivadele, as Ram Charan’s flick is the only one released post Loukyam.

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi’s recent statement on his actor-brother Naga Babu was the talk of the town. Chiru stated that Naga Babu would have been “Mega Star” had he made his acting debut prior to Chiranjeevi. This is seen as “overstatement” by many including Mega Fans. Apparently Chiru’s claim hasn’t gone well with several die-hard fans of the star as they’re unable to “digest” and even “think” anyone else in the position of “Mega Star”. 

Although Chiranjeevi tried to say that Naga Babu is as “good” actor as Chiru is, Chiru excited a bit and made an out-of-proportion statement. One thing where Chiru has gone completely wrong is “actor” is different from a “star” and “Mega Star” is certainly a long long away from any “actor”. Be it dance moves, risky stunts, fights, flair for comedy or dialogue delivery, none can match Chiru feel fans and critics.

“Stardom is a crown bestowed by viewers and they have only crowned stars who have multiple talents. who can act well, dance brilliantly and indulge in risk-taking stunts and also have flair for comedy and Nagababu lacks many of these skills, except to justify few cameo roles in his career, so he never was a star material” an industry source shares. Right now, Nagababu is busy in TV serials and anchoring shows with reduced film assignments. May be, Chiranjeevi got carried away, by the moment, than stating a fact, it seem so.

Going by highly reliable sources, director-producer YVS Chowdary himself is to be blamed for his present situation as his film Rey, supposed to be launchpad of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s nephew Sai Dharam Teja, has been lying in cans for a longtime. 

Our sources say that Pawan Kalyan had offered to help YVS Chowdary during one of his toughest times when the movie’s shoot was halted. To everyone’s shock Chowdary then declined Pawan’s help and had reportedly told Pawan that he could overcome it on his own. A strong source spills the beans, “In the midst of making of Rey which went through financial crunch, superstar Pawan Kalyan reportedly send feelers to producer-director YVS Choudury and urged him, to give him a clear picture about the status of the film and how much money is required to complete and assured to release appropriate funds, but director declined the offer and bluffed that everything was well and claimed that he would manage on his own”. 

Later when Chowdary mired in huge debts and interests of the debts piled up, even Pawan couldn’t help him much as he reportedly diverted those funds to his family and another friend, adds the source. Had Chowdary agreed to Pawan’s offer then, the movie would have seen the light of the day and Pawan would have easily bailed out the film, Chowdary from financial mess. This is said to be Chowdary’s biggest blunders till date and will remain as one of the biggest ever mistakes in his career.

Flaunting his six-pack abs, Lord Shiva tattoo and stylish shades, Ajay Devgan has simply brought that perfect ‘action’ color to this remake. However, original storyline of Dookudu is taken but tremendous changes are made to the script to incorporate couple of more heroines. Sonakshi Sinha, Yami Gautham and Manasvi Mamgai are playing leads alongside Ajay in this flick. And Sonu Sood is as usual playing his villain role it seems, while another hero Kunal Roy Kapoor is also present. First look poster is hinting about the ‘masala’ treat fans are about to get. It seems bigger than Dookudu!

The Tollywood circuit is currently embroiled in a situation and all shootings have come to a halt. Even caterers of shooting are also part of the strike. They are doing their job secretly but saying not to reveal outside because their memberships will be removed. So, what is the issue all about?

The cine workers are holding a strike to increase the daily wage. Currently, they are getting Rs 600 per day but now they are demanding Rs 850 per day. The costumers, junior artists are stating that inflation has risen and they are getting payments that were given four to five years back.

They add that it is not a daily job and happens on and off. Looking at all angles, they are asking to compensate. Many feel it is a genuine demand and it can be worked out. If the remuneration for a big hero’s movie is reduced then that fund can be used here. Lately, the working days have also come down so work is not there in long run. As such their amounts are not huge but here is the other side. 

The producers point out that if films go wrong they suffer huge losses. Now, if this hike raises then they incur extra burden. All said and done, the rightful way to end this would be that their demands must be considered and if not Rs 850 at least some hike must be given. Let us see what happens.

Even after going extra glamorous for a movie like Ra Ra Krishnayya, success and plum offers haven’t turned towards Regina. And then ‘Power’ was expected to shatter her bad luck but nothing such happened as her role is quite short and not so impactful. She expected a game-changer in the form of Bunny-Trivikram movie as she was supposed to be the second heroine of the flick. But somehow that didn’t materialize and the only option for Regina is to score a brownie with Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘Pilla Nuvvuleni Jeevitham’. Let us see what magic this talented girl could weave.

For quite some time, the relationship between Dasari Narayana Rao and mega family has been delicate. There have been many occasions when both parties exchanged ‘not so nice’ words and they even passed satires on each other at various film functions. Once again, both parties are about to have a face off following the statements made by Dasari Narayana Rao during the audio release function of Lakshmi Rave Maa Intiki. While explaining the need to support small and good cinema, Dasari took on a recent film which starred a mega hero. 

Though he did not take the name of the big film, it was quite obvious that he was referring to Ram Charan’s Govindudu Andari Vaadele. “At a time when Loukyam was doing good business, the film was removed from 37 centres to accommodate the release of the film of a big hero. But that film did not run for more than three days. So, once again the theatre owners started running Loukyam,” said Dasari who is not known to mince his words. 

The film that released on the fifth day of Loukyam’s release was Govindudu Andari Vaadele. Though Dasari did not take the name, he did say that the film was removed for ‘a big hero’. Again, though he did not take the name of Ram Charan, it was obvious that he was referring to Ram Charan. Dasari did not stop there. He went on to say that after removing the film, the theatre owners had no choice but to revert to Loukyam. Dasari also commented on heirs in film industry on the occasion. 

“There is nothing wrong with star sons entering the industry. But making bad films and rubbing them on to the audiences is wrong,” said Dasari. Well, Dasari did say whatever was to say about mega family’s heir apparent. In the past, Ram Charan reacted pretty strongly to Dasari’s comments. It remains to be seen how Charan will react this time around.

It is common to see heroes having manic fans and that mania doesn’t reduce so easily. But what is happening with Prabhas is something unusual. It is being reported that he is developing a very strong following who are becoming obsessed with him.Prabhas is celebrating his birthday on October 23 rd and already fans are making big preparations for the event. Fans of the young rebel star will be carrying a huge cut-out of their hero in A special Bahubali chariot. 

This chariot will be taken out as a rally starting from Koti and head towards RTC Crossroads from 8PM to 10PM on October 22nd. Prabhas last appeared in Mirchi movie and he will be next seen In Rajamouli magnum opus Baahubali.Prabhas has been paid 25 crores as remuneration for ‘Baahubali’.25 crores remuneration can be justified for the lead actor because, more than the film, a leading actor like Prabhas has invested 3 years of his time in ‘Baahubali’ which is priceless.

No other actor in Tollywood has received such kind of remuneration till date and this is definitely a personal achievement for the Young Rebel Star.And many say he is worth it. For now, there is a strong belief that Prabhas will rock and all he needs is a blockbuster, he will go into straight top two along with Pawan in fan following.
