Hudhud Skyrockets Flight Fares
While many are philanthropists, corporates and also celebrities are coming forward to help generously the victims of Hudhud cyclone, private airlines started making undue advantage of the flight of the people.
As Hudhud cyclone devastated Visakhapatnam airport many started prefering Madhuravada airport in Rajahmundry. Going by popular demand, the air fare shot up to Rs 17000 from the orignal 3500. Normally airport officials use dynamic fare system to cash in on to the demand from public.
But this is a tragedy and many feel AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu is turning a blind eye to it as he feels that rich people can afford that astronomical increase in prices. This is for the first time that Rajamundry-Hyderabad airfares shot up drastically by five times.
Breaking News : Naidu’s full support to KCR!
The Central Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday declared his full support to develop Telangana especially Hyderabad as much as the Central Government can. He extended his support to KCR’s plan of “Housing For All”. These were the statements made by Naidu in support of KCR in the Telangana Real Estate Development association in Hitex on Friday.
Naidu told that the investors will get attracted only if the government can give them comfort, if not then nothing can be done. Naidu praised for the idea of installing agricultural tanks to make agriculture better especially in drought areas of the state. Naidu also told that he is happy with the digitization of records in the Telangana Government. He also gave a clarity about the project of 100 smart cities in India is going to start from January next year.
He also added that a scheme named “Uday” will be introduced soon to developed the pilgrim places and temples of the country to bring back its glory. While, the Central Minister seemed to be in favour of the CM of Telangana and filled him with praises for his schemes. So, it seems like Naidu is impressed by KCR and is sure to support them in any developmental activity the government does. But, the question is can KCR live upto Naidu’s expectation? Should wait and see!
Telangana Household Survey becomes a joke!
Looking at how the common man of Telangana State especially the elderly are standing in hot sun in long queues to get registered for the Food Security Cards for the poor, one can only wonder what happened to the intense household survey conducted by TS in August. The latest application procedures for Food Security Cards and pension schemes for old age, widows and physically handicapped is only testing the patience of common man.
People are asking what has happened to the information gathered by the State Government by means of the Intensive Household Survey. With the government still not completely the digitization and analysing the information gathered through HIS, the deserving eligible beneficiaries for ration cards and pensions, are facing a harrowing time with brokers demanding Rs. 100 to fill the forms.
The disturbing reports that IHS has only remained on paper and the government has failed to even cover 20 per cent of households in Telangana is bringing criticism to KCR and his government not to mention the spate of farmer suicides!

PVP To Produce Nagarjuna-Karthi Bilingual Film
Noted producer Prasad V Potluri (PVP) announced that he is going to produce a Telugu/Tamil bilingual film under PVP Cinemas banner with Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi. Earlier, Young Tiger NTR was supposed to do the film along with Nagarjuna but the former opted out due to unknown reasons.
Vamsi Padipally will be directing the film and more details are yet to be announced. Nagarjuna is currently shooting for ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and the actor will be seen in dual role in this film. On the other hand, Karthi’s recent release ‘Madras’ became super hit and the actor is shooting for another film titled ‘Komban’. This will be the first Telugu film for Karthi and the actor has good market in Tollywood as well.

Prior to bifurcation, Lagadapati Rajagopal, Undavalli Arun Kumar, Harsha Kumar and others like Sabbam Srihari raised their voices against the Congress government in erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh. KCR begs 40,000 crores!
Andhra Pradesh to Telangana. He seems to take advantage of the cyclone and requested the TATA group to invest 40,000 crores for the development of Hyderabad to make it a Smart City. On Friday, CM of Telangana met the team of officers led by Anil Sardana, CEO and MD, Tata Power and asked for the investment on Hyderabad. KCR seems like having a plan to develop the capital city same as any other world class city.
However, the CEO at Tata Power has announced to build a 1000 MW thermal power project. He said that the project will start in the next two years. He also gave a thought of distribution of electricity to all rural areas sufficient for agriculture. He told that waste lands can be used to set up solar power plants. According to the sources, KCR seems to be diverting any company that wants to invest in Andhra by pulling them Hyderabad.
The officers told that since Hyderabad is also developed to certain extent if a huge group like TATA supports us then Telangana will no longer be backward. KCR felt that Hyderabad will become a world-class city with the support of these corporate companies that increase the growth of economy. So, will KCR be successful in making Hyderabad a smart city? Is it possible to KCR to convince the TATA group and corporates?

Ram Lost Hope On Engineering Graduate!!

Samantha’s Younger Sister Turns Heroine!
One more child artiste has turned into heroine. Navika Kotia is the latest to join the growing list of child artistes-turned-heroines. Navika, who shot to fame in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster Attarintiki Daaredi where she was seen playing the role of younger sister to Samantha, is now making her showbiz debut with a Tamil film. Navika is pairing up with actor Sharawnan in a youthful love story.
Navika was also seen as Sridevi’s bubbly younger daughter Sapna in English Vinglish. Given that she already has Telugu connection with Pawan’s film, Navika is keen to make her full-time debut in Telugu soon. Before her stint on silver screen, Navika has done handful of TV serials including Balika Vadhu. Navika is now aged at 16 years.

Trikoti to direct Naga Chaitanya?
Riding high with the success of Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya, director Trikoti is now a happy man. Basking in the glory, Trikoti is preparing ground to direct Naga Chaitanya in his next film. The former associate of director Rajamouli share good rapport with Nagarjuna ever since they bonded well on the sets of Rajanna. In fact, Trikoti had narrated a script to Nag sometime back for Chaitanya and Nag apparently liked it. But that didn’t materialize for various reasons.
After the stupendous success of his maiden film, Trikoti is back to drawing board and contemplating to revive the project with Chaitanya. Given that Chaitanya worked with newcomers, budding directors in the past, it’d be cake walk for Trikoti to work out his project with Chaitu.
Meanwhile, we hear that many producers are lining up to make film with Trikoti. However, the Rajamouli’s former associate is playing it safe and keeping his cards close to his chest. If all goes well, Trikoti will enter into big league.
