He recently paid a visit to Nakkapalli of Visakha district on his personal affairs. Speaking with the media men, the director revealed the details of his new projects. He said he was preparing scripts for two top heroes and will be working with Mahesh next year. The director is currently riding high on the success of ‘Alludu Seenu’.

Mahesh, meanwhile, will be working with Koratala Siva for his next. The movie will go on floors on October 9 and will be released in summer, 2015. Shruthi Haasan will share the screen space with Mahesh. Mythri Movies is the production house.

Recently demand for Bharat Ratna for NTR grew and many thought that AP Govt headed by TDP chief Chandra Babu will recommend NTR’s name for the award. But recently some union ministry sources reported that NTR name was not recommended by TDP.  Many got shocked after hearing the news.Even the TDP leaders are wondering why the Chandrababu government did not recommend the name of the party founder for the highest civilian honour in the country.

This caused furore among NTR fans and doubts have been raised on Chandrababu.Seems Naidu realized this soon.State cabinet which has met today unanimously passed the resolution on NTR’S Bharata Ratna. The TDP cabinet has passed an unanimous resolution requesting the Centre to confer Bharat Ratna on former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TD founder president late N.T. Rama Rao.

The resolution was passed by TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and supported by the ministers unanimously.The cabinet also passed a resolution demanding construction of a memorial of former Prime Minister late PV Narasimha Rao in New Delhi. They welcomed the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the United States of America and passed a resolution in this regard.  This was certainly a good news for all telugu’s and a fitting reply for all those who suspects Babu’s credibility.

So, Charan’s 8th film added another hit-film in his meritorious career and then a profitable venture for producer unlike other competitors of the season. 

The combo of the mega director SS Rajamouli and the Mr.Perfect of Bollywood Aamir Khan seems interesting. This duo is surely a perfect match for a blockbuster movie. SS Rajamouli has been busy working for Bahubali past two years.

The dialogue goes like this “Ikkada Babai Okkade Kaastha Mysterious ga Vunnadu Nanna. Intlo Vundatam Ledhu. Ekkada Vuntunnado Ento mari.” This means is he telling that Pawan is the only one going in separate route ? Is he making differences clear to the public? It became a ‘routine’ for many star heroes to draw references of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in their movies. And whenever Pawan’s name, style or reference is heard then fans watching the flick go merry and make shrilled whistles and shouts. Seems like mega hero Ram Charan wants to bring similar craze to his cousin Allu Arjun.

Beating the normal, Charan used Bunny’s name this time to send waves of merry among fans. In one scene he calls his Indian friend whose name is Bunny and there is Allu Arjun’s pic for the caller. At the end it turns out to be someone else anyway. And in another scene, Charan says ‘D..e..v..u..d..a’ in typical ‘Race Gurram’ style, again bringing the house down with huge laughs. In an unfortunate incident, a hardcore mega fan has lost his life today at mass stampede that took place at Siva theatre, Emminganur, Kurnool District. After ticket counter windows are opened, fans have suddenly rushed into queue to grab couple of tickets, which led to the stampede. At a time when ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ released to positive talk of mouth, this ill-timed occurrence pushed mega fans into deep sorrow.

Responding on the death of his fan, Ram Charan stated, “I’m shocked and saddened by his death. Will give an exgratia of 2 lakhs to his family”. He expressed deep condolences for this unlucky death. Probably theatre management and police would have made ample security arrangements to avoid such untoward incidents. Even fans need to maintain poise at ticket queues. A lost life never comes back. 

When you spend hundred rupees for a cinema ticket, you expect to have the best visual experience in the theatre. To meet that demand, the filmmakers keep running to all corners of the world to find new locations and ensure something new is given. This is more from the Bollywood industry.

However, it is heard that they have decided not to visit one place and it is not a country but a whole continent. Well, news is that the Bollywood folks are staying away from Africa. Usually, they have most of their shootings happen in South Africa and some expensive movies head to Kenya or other places.

But the reason behind their no-entry is due to the fear of the dreadful Ebola virus. This has already claimed more than three thousand lives and nearly twenty thousand are at its risk. Though this epidemic is just in Liberia, Sierra Leone and surrounding areas, the Bollywood folks are just not eager to risk it out. 

Of late, Telugu films have been relying on one man- Brahmanandam. Even start-studded films too depending on Brahmi’s charisma to pull off the masses. But Ram Charan’s just-released Govindudu Andarivadele has broken those stereotype by going ahead without star comedian Brahmanandam. And yes, director Krishna Vamsi managed to enthrall audiences with right doses of sentiment, drama.

Vamsi put the whole responsibility on Ram Charan and Cherry too carried off the movie on his shoulders. Be it comedy or action, Charan compensated Brahmi. Thanks to Kirshna Vamsi who applied brakes to tedious slapping scenes involving Brahmi in almost every other film. With GAV, Krishna Vamsi proved that one could do a film without Brahmi. Let’s see how audience react to this experiment.

It is more like a testament that Tollywood tends to follow Bollywood in many areas. Be it fashion, stories or the production values, Bollywood has set a benchmark for Tollywood. However, the one thing Tollywood didn’t get from Bollywood is the business acumen. So now, there is news that even that is being worked out.

Apparently, Bollywood is coming up with a sizable number of low budget movies and they are minting profits. Notable in that list are names like Ekta Kapoor and Mahesh Bhatt. The filmmakers usually come with youth appealing stories with romance, sex as the main focus. The shocking part is, their budget is less than Telugu movie budgets and almost every movie does not exceed more than Rs 2.5 cr to Rs 3 cr.

But in Tollywood, a middle range hero’s film means the budget has to be Rs 5 crores to Rs 6 crores. If you look at the Hindi circuit, due to the optimum budget for their films, even if the result is a worst flop at the box office, it fetches at least Rs 8 crores. And if the film works then it touches at least Rs 40 crores. So, Telugu movies and its makers have to work according to the market stamina and not go for pomp and buildup. Perhaps they can explore more on the ‘Cooperative Method’ which is quite effective.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Govindhudu Andari Vaadele has released in a big number of theaters today. The film is the first attempt of Charan in the family entertainers genre and it comes in the right time of Dussehra holidays. In the Telugu States, the bookings in the A centers and Multiplexes are decent with crowds but the overall openings are very weak. expected to get better for the night shows today.

Prefestival effect will have a negative impact on some of the areas usually and this film is no exception. The film is having a very low buzz before the release and it reflects on the openings too. Going by the benefit shows and regular Morning and Matinees, the film recorded lowest ever openings for Charan after Toofan. Charan had been very weak in the Overseas and there is no significant success for him there except Magadheera. However he put up a good show this time despite being a working Tuesday there.

According to the last reports we got the film collected $154K from 61 locations and is expected to go up $180K in total which is a good show considering Charan’s track record here. The numbers would have been better if the content is deployed on time. Coming to the full run details, going by the average to above average talk it current carries, the film is expected to collect a minimum of 45 Crores in its full run complimented by the holiday season.

 So far, Yevadu with 8.65 Crore in AP+Telangana is the career best opening for Ram Charan and Attarintiki Daredi is all time best with 10.75 Crore in the Telugu States. We will have to see where Govindhudu Andari Vaadele will end up!
